Social Networking Sites

LinkedIn

AHMA has the home improvement industry "LinkedIn".

We've created an online group for the home improvement industry at the leading business networking site LinkedIn. "One of the primary purposes of our association is to facilitate communications between our members and the industry as a whole,” said Timothy S. Farrell, President and Chief Executive Officer of AHMA. “This new online network is a perfect way for us to use today’s emerging media to greatly enhance opportunities for networking between manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and others interested in the industry.” The name of the group is AHMA Home Improvement Industry Network.

We also have a technology focused group on LinkedIn. This group is set up to initiate networking among current and past HTF attendees. Post your questions among the group and problem solve together! Have you joined the HTF LinkedIn Group yet?

If you're already a member of LinkedIn, strengthen and expand your existing network of industry contacts by joining us today! If you do not have a free LinkedIn account, sign up now at LinkedIn/Join.

Twitter

AHMA is now posting news to Twitter -- the micro-blogging and social networking service. "Tweeted" items appear on the site or on your cell phone almost as soon as they are written. If you add the site to your RSS feed, you will be notified whenever a new item is posted.

If you're already using Twitter and want to stay on top of all the industry and happenings, follow us @AHMAnews. Or track our Hardlines Technology Forum at #HTF10.
